I was just wondering what some opinions are of having the dealership emblem on your car. I still have a Steve Nay's Waco Dodge emblem on my trunk. I was wondering if I should leave it or take it off?

red72chrgr

I have the one from the dealer in Chattanooga. It was on the car and I'm gonna do what I can to make it look better and put it back on.
Nothing personal, just business

i would  keep it on  there if it were the original selling dealer , & if it is a decal  i would get it photographed , & a get a duplicate made if  i was planning on doing body work .

I agree.  I always like it when I see one of those things on an older car.

darl5433

Yeah, that is what I think I will do then. I will leave it on. Thanks.

Just 6T9 CHGR

You can cut some sheet magnets to fit the emblem & stick it to the car/truck at shows.

Mine came from Haynes Motors in Del Rio Texas, where it stayed until 2001. I wonder if they are still in business.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.

My 68 had one. It was a sort of oval shape plaque. When I removed it, it rusted the skin behind it. There was a rust hole almost the exact shape and size of that emblem.
