As Doug's middle wife and the mother of his daughter I can tell you that the man is devestated by the loss. That car was his world. The car has been found - chopped into a dozen pieces with the engine that is worth about $20k these days - missing.

I don't think that someone looking for drug money stole the car as all that was taken was the jet engine and the rest was cut up for scrap. Sounds like someone who wanted the engine for their own car....
