Did the Hemi 4-Speed Gear Ratios change between 1970 and 1971, or were they different between Charger and Challenger???

My 1970 Charger Service Manual lists a 2.65:1 1st Gear for the HD A-833.

My 1971 Challenger Service Manual lists a 2.44:1 1st Gear for the HD A-833.

Yes, the Hemi gear ratios changed in '71.

Thanks for the info.  I was pretty confused as I always thought all Hemi 4-Speeds were created equal!!!!
