...do they have forged cranks?


I am looking at a 72 Rallye and the guy says it has a forged crankshaft. I thought all 400's had cast cranks.

Some of the four speed ones did come with a forged crank.

I know that ONLY forged cranks were machined for a pilot bushing on 440's.  I assume 383 and 400 also, but can't say for sure.

in 72 it is possible to have a 400 with a forged crank
