What is Missing From this Daytona?

Yes there is a list of daytona shipments.Which contains job number vin number dealer name and dealer number and location.but dealers traded cars with other dealers in some cases

With 3.23 gears, that might explain why they got 11.3mpg - including their dragstrip testing sessions!   

Wonder if Chrysler knew they were going to do a mileage test and gave them a (comparatively) gas-miser car to play with...

even with the list  --  could not be that easy  could it,   another thought , the auto magazines that done these tests , might of had a copy of the vins on the cars they were testing for insurance purposes ,   yeah ( hemigeno )  would not  be surprised  if that is why Chrysler let them use  the  tamest   440 packaged daytona they had  ,  i would of done the same if i was Chrysler , because its the last thing i would of wanted , claiming the new slippery shape will give better fuel as wall as performance ,   had they given  the road test magazine  a 440 or hemi  with  a super track pack  , the milage would of been   single digit .

               yeah   i saw that  ,  may be Chrysler  was  making  the six pack a dealer installed option , as there has been one documented .   i think - just hypothetically,  as i don't have the last  build   date of daytona to hand , not being factory installed may be all the daytonas were assembled before  the announcement of the 440 six pack  and the  A12 cars.  the  early customers ordering a daytona didn't know it was available ,   like i say guys  just a thought
                                          that road test of the 22" radiator daytona was in a December 69 magazine  , bit late  may be it was  a 440 six pack for the 70 daytona it had been built .  did'nt, the documented ( i think it is 3 ) 70 charger r/t's with  a option of a daytona  package just the  ( wing & nose)  have six packs .

My dad said he was looking at and even started up a nearly brand new '69 Daytona in the Dodge showroom in Spokane. Would have been around 1970. He said the car came up from Lewiston because it didn't sell there. Unfortunatly he didn't buy it... I'm wondering if anyone has any more info on this car? I think he said it was Tor-Red with a tan interior.

Red with a tan interior? Would have been a nice looking car in my opinion.

I don't recall too many Daytona's with the T3 interior, it would definately stand out.

Thats a rare combo  red and tan interior.I seen carl swansons car gold with green interior

Gold with green interior? I know of a 500 that is Yellow with a green interior, as well as a Silver car with Blue interior. both odd combo's if you ask me.

Back to the tan interior car. Would be a great looking ride.
