I'm loving all this,,,, but,,,,, all these pics have got to be burning a hole in the bandwidth... :icon_smile_blackeye:
Not exactly... the server will probably fall apart long before we hit any bandwidth limits. ;)

At least the pictures are all different instead of 800 identical ones with different names.

Step One: Get ds440 to photoshop you a paint scheme.

Step Two: Build a 3-Dimentional Model depicting said paint scheme.  :scope:

Step Three: Build the car!  (still working on that one)  :icon_smile_blackeye:

That's awesome.  It's not a 3D model....it's a "prototype." :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:

Here you go, Bronze...

Congratulations...this one rivaled the 'mod-top' Daytona as the 'biggest-pain-in-the-arse'. :icon_smile_blackeye:  I tried my best.....

That looks like the custom paint Troy wants to do on Shelby's Daytona. :image_294343:

Thanks ds440.  I know its amateur work, but its been a while since I put together a model.   :icon_smile_big:   But don't worry, I will definately be posting pics of the real thing once it gets done!

Now all I need is a nice little ds440 logo I can put on the trunk lid when its finished  :icon_smile_cool:

Hey DS...Can u do me a 69 Charger with black interior, chrome torque thrust wheels, drag slicks on the back, black (bottom) & red (top) two tone with a thin silver stripe seperating the colours? I plan on doing a model car like like dave is doing.

Hey Bronze,
Here's the deal, man.  I'll keep it short and sweet. :icon_smile_cool:  If you're planning on building your '69 that way, then I'll do it.  But if you're just messing around with a model kit...no dice.  If you don't like the paint scheme - sand it off and start over. :yesnod:  That's part of the fun of a model kit.

As I've explained before, I'm really not interested in doing anything and everything people can think of.  I would much rather concentrate on helping people visualize their projects. :yesnod:  Thus my (albeit ineffective) 'ban' on doing the CARS eyes.

Now your 'guitar-themed' Charger is your one freebie.  Brock is/was actually considering painting his car in that manner.  See what I'm getting at?  Not trying to be a jerk...I'm just too busy to do EVERYthing. ;)

Word of advice to some out there when it comes to asking DS for help, use it don't abuse it. I'm sure he's happy to help out, but if we make too many unreasonable requests then its not really fair. That or learn photoshop and do it yourself all you want along with unrealistic paint schemes you'll never end up doing...Some of us out there are actually going for a certain look and the photoshopped results help us envision our goal, others.. well you know the car is still taking up space and no work is actually being done... I know that DS is the man when it comes to design but photoshopping is time consuming and I'm sure the guy has a life so keep that in mind...

69bronzeT5

Well, I just remembered he made that two tone Daytona picture for a person so Ill just use that picture as a example.

Well I finally came up with the revisions I wanted to make to the purple car...   Actually I did pretty good considering all I have is microsoft paint but I was wondering if you could touch up the rocker panel area and front bumper/valance for me?  I want it to look just a little better before I print them.   ;)  Also it sits low in the back, almost like it has a flat tire, but I couldnt do anything with that on here.   :-\  I didnt really want to jack it up like the yellow one, more like level it out or tip it slightly forward.  Basically a stock stance.
