Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Those are some nice looking heads, nicest i've seen in a while, But, i think you should just get some eddys, with the Victors out now, you might be able to score some nice RPMs for around a grand, those 516s have had some extensive bowl work, so they might be prone to leaks in the near future :-\, may not want to take that chance, if you have the 600.00 bills, you can buy i complete eddy head, that will put you half way thereĀ  :icon_smile_wink:

Somebody spent a bunch O'money on those 516 castings ! They look like nice heads.

Have you purchased Pistons for your 451 yet ?  Whats your C.R. using Eddy's, or the Iron ?

I think if you're using a Flat-top Piston, you may find your Comp. Ratio a little high for pump fuel using the Iron closed Chamber Heads @ 77 cc. Somewheres up to 11:1 ??

Just something to check out in your application, prior to any purchase decision.
