What's it worth-71 Challenger 383 Matching Motor and Trans?

Hello all, if this should be in another area please feel free to move me.

I'd decided to make my 69 Charger SE 383 into an RT SE. After a 10-year restoration I've decided that stock is just plain boring. So, I have a 68 440 and trans that I will be putting into my car. Now I have a 71 Challenger matching motor and trans that I have no use for? This is a matching pair from a 71 Challenger 383 2v. I would think that I would have better luck selling this as a matching set for a 71 car.

The motor runs great and was rebuilt (with many upgraded parts) about 2 years ago. I have less than 500 miles on the combo.

Does anyone have any idea what a fair price would be for this setup? I have no idea but wanted some input.

Thanks all...

I sold a 71 383 4 barrell from a 71 Charger for $ 550 with #s matching 727.  I don't know if that is the going price but I was happy to get it out of the garage.

Thanks...I too will need the floor space. It does not sound like it's going to bring big bucks. Too bad as I have about 1500 into it.

Sorry for the delay. The numbers on the trans are as follows. The motor matches the trans.

Hope that helps.

Thanks
