Just wondering if anyones seen it yet. It's gotten a lot of good press, but I would like to hear what you guys think.

Here's a cool link........    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15730315/

See if you can match the correct bond girl with what movie she was in.  :icon_smile_big:

I thought it was the best Bond movie of the franchise.  And I'm a fan.

The best since Connery at least.

Btw, I got 19 of 25 on the Bond girls.  All of the ones I missed were in the forgettable Roger Moore/Timothy Dalton years, though I did get about half of those.  One thing I noticed was that these are only the good girls; seems I know the bad girls a little better.  In fact, my favorite was Sophie Marceau in The World is Not Enough, although you can't argue with Daniela Bianchi on the good side...

I agree with Vain, best Bond ever.
A reboot was the best they could have done and I was surprised how well it works.
Worth the look for any Bond fan or action flick fans in general . You'll have a blast.

My family & I saw it today, right after thanksgiving dinner. Overall, I really liked it!

It took me about half the movie to get used to a new Bond actor, but I think he'll do. My wife still doesn't think he's a good Bond. That interrogation scene was painful, yet funny! :icon_smile_big:
Tons of action, not enough screen time with that new Aston Martin, though. That's a cool looking car.

For those who may have not read all the Bond novels, Casino Royale was the first Bond novel by Ian Fleming. The made a "made for TV" movie of it in the 50's sometime. For some reason, when they started making the big screen movies in '62, they started with "Dr. No", which was actually the 5th or 6th novel, if I recall.
The reason I'm saying this is that I noticed that "M" said a couple times toward the beginning of this movie that Bond had just been bumped to "00" status & she was still keeping an eye on him, being a "00" newbie.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Top notch... my wife and saw it Wednesday... it's very dark but Craig plays a real badass...

bull

I saw a trailer for it and it was halfway through before I realized it was a James Bond film, if that says anything. I'm not a huge Bond fan but I've seen several of the movies and to be honest had they not gone the direction they are going I would not have thought about going to it. As it is I'm very intrigued.

Saw this flick yesterday, it was awesome.  Ya, some more of the car, but it still showed the car enough,   more rough and tough fight scenes than normal, ya, steve mcqueen type actor, but not without depth, but with the cool character of mcqueen,  which was good IMO.      Also, good long movie, not predictable,  ending was hard to know what was next,  good job on the plot,   M was good in this too, her role as bond's boss,

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

THE CHARGER PUNK

I saw that on friday, i have 2 agree that is the best since connery, very dark james bond best james bond flick i have ever seen :yesnod:
