All I did today was run to walmart to buy new shoes, get a few birthday items for my boys, and go to a Thankgiving dinner at Ponderosa with my parents. (It was packed too). But then they had their own little things to do, so I came home around 1pm, and been pretty much sitting here alone since then. :-\ Anyone else having a day simular to this?

I had to go over to the in-laws. I would have gladly stayed home alone.
Not that I don't like the in-laws, it's a small house with way too many people and one bathroom.

Home alone for Thanks Giving first time in eleven years. No in-laws. Down with Bronchitis still, so wife said for me to stay home, I almost feel better already, haha. Now if only the speed shops were open!

exact same situation here. 1 bathroom and everything, tons of people in a small house. I felt like I was in a hostage crisis.

We had dinner with just our immediate family, no in-laws & all the baggage that comes with them. I prefer it that way. ;D

Afterward, we all hit the theater for Bond, James Bond. :icon_smile_cool:
BTW, it took me about half the movie to warm up to a new Bond character, but I liked it overall. Gotta add that one to the collection when they release the DVD. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Same here, and it was very nice. Instead of seeing the James Bond flick I bought a copy of Cars and we all watched that.

Started moving boxes into a new apartment (with a view of downtown Seattle  :icon_smile_big:).  Stopped by the girlfriends for a nice Steak dinner... not much on the traditional turkey thing.

Kinda miss the whole family gathering thing with my step-family in Arkansas...

LOL--I like how you put that! See Da'Charger guy...it could be worse. I've been in some arguments with my in-laws and it just ruins the spirit. IMO.

Would of been nice tho to have at least a girl friend to spend it with, or my boys.

EXACTLY what I was thinking!! :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:
What was the hangar for? :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

AKcharger

You guys....you know what I meant  ::) ...I stripped the old wax off and then put new wax on...I was clothed. Although I was barefooted (is that a word?) and used my foot to move a scrub pad around the floor...now my toes hurt from the abrasion!

Hanger was to keep door open, I used bleach and was over powered by fumes...in hind-sight I think ammonia is supposed to work better to remove wax

BLACKWOLF

I WOULD WATCH USING THAT AMMONIA. I CAME HOME ONE DAY IN HIGH SCHOOL AND FOUND MY MOM PASSED OUT ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR FROM THE FUMES. THEY HAD TO PUT HER ON O2 FOR 2 HOURS.
I CAN SAY (MORE OR LESS) I SPENT IT ALONE!
SON WENT TO OKLAHOMA WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND, MY PARENTS AND SISTER WENT TO LOCAL BUFFET.
I SPENT IT WITH PEOPLE THAT I AM SICK AND TIRED OF LIVING WITH AND THEIR FAMILY.
"GIRLFRIEND" , HER BITCH DAUGHTER, HER GRUMPY MOTHER, HER (I'M RICHER THAN YOU) SON. (BUILT LIKE LOU FERRIGNO).
IF I HAD THE MONEY AND MY CHARGER TOGETHER, I WOULD HAVE GOT IN IT AND HEADED SOUTH SOMEWHERE.

Here, in southern Illinois, the weather is great! close to 70 degrees.  My wife is a RN and working a 12 hour shift,  i got the charger out of the garage and put about 50 miles on her.  Something about driving my car, makes it hard to feel anything but GOOD!  Infact, I took my wifwe to the show and out to dinner, and yep got the charger out for that trip, even took it to the grocery store, but I waited in the car.  (I hate grocery store parking lots) pretty good Thanksgiving weekend so far.

My wife naped all day so she could go Christmas Shoping at Midnight with her friend. We had turkey at Home Town for lunch. I usually deep fry turkeys but didn't have any orders this year. I will do some for Christmas though. I worked on my stuff for a change Thursday, Friday and Saterday. I'm starting to deliver trees this morning. I'll do that on weekends and after 4 in the afternoon during the week.

Okay, other than drooling and longing for my hubby AKcharger, I did host a lonely airman who had no family here in AK for dinner. I think he had a nice time. What is with those single guys..... jeeesh, he talked forever and ever!!! Didn't want to leave my house! Finally I had to kick him out!! Sure wish it was AKcharger carving that turkey instead of me!! I miss you baby!!!!
