SB water pump to intake hose .............do they make an adapter......

Hi Guys, trying to get one rolling. I bought a 68 318 complete motor , in good shape , ready to drop in , to get my 72 moving. I changed the cast iron water pump over to the aluminum type . The outlet on my intake appears to be 3/4 in size with the new water pump connection appearing to be larger .........maybe 1 inch.  I already have the ac compressor and all brackets mounted , is there an easy fix with out replacing the intake. Not sure I could get the 3/4 intake outlet out ........even with a pipe wrench. Any body make a small to large hose that will fit.........thanks.........John

I would check for a different water pump

Not sure what you mean, Chyrco, all the aluminum pumps I have seen for 69 and up small blocks  have the larger connection and is cast into the pump.  Have not looked at the aftermarkets..........John

I have not checked to see if any other pump with smaller neck either , I just thought there might be a different housing
check for a different brass fitting for the intake  is the only other solution
