What all do you think got trashed here and do you think it could be restored? :icon_smile_big:

Front clip needs to be replaced.  got anymore pictures from the sides?  Is that the R/T that was jumped this year?

Kind of looks to be a pic from the original series?

Anything can be fixed, the real question is, is it cost effective?

It's bent in half, the rails on both ends are garbage along with probably everything connected to them. The one vent window looks ok and you could probably save the door handles...

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

some of the interior is more than likely salvagable :icon_smile_big:

Except the big gravy stain on the driver's seat.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

After reading your last post, heck with it. I thought the car was still  around and needing repair.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

If you go to HLPAG's site (I know but there is a reason) they are restoring what they claim to be a "screen used" R/T S/E 440-4speed General Lee. The car that pinhead jumped was supposedly a General Lee Enterprises car, and the pic appears to be THAT car.

I'm betting HellFag is transplanting the numbers and major parts onto another car. They are claiming they are restoring the car, they might be but we all know their past history. The body on their website looks to be a nice 4 speed body.

The first pic in the thread is 25-year-old image from the set of the old TV series.  (The car is long gone; this fixing discussion would just be hypothetical.)

The car's unibody is whacked from front to rear.  It could be fixed if you wanted to frame-rack the whole thing and then replace most of the outer skin.  The right/front corner took most of the impact.  Just guessing, but the RF subframe rail might be better off replaced than trying to straighten it after that much of a bend.

No way they would have even considered repairing that car back in 1981, though.  It's toast.  Even the Valuzet brothers (who were known to occasionally re-use jumped Chargers against WB's wishes) would have elected to scrap that one.

....I'm surprised no one made this comment yet....

It'll buff out! :D

I was aware that this car was long gone, thought it may be fun to see what ideas we would all come up with on how it could be fixed :-\  Too bad it is in Charger heaven :'(

FastbackJon

Doesn't need to be straightened out, just get it driveable (turning, stopping, and acceleration) and cruise around as-is.
