Magnum 500 as a spare

Were Magnum 500s used as spares? If so was the jack base used the same to tie it down because my base does not fit inside the hub of the Magnum I'm probably going to use as my spare.

for 68-70 chargers, no.  They were always a steel spare from the factory.  As for 71 and up, I do not know for certain.

"Magnums" were not used as spares.

You can use the jack base as a hold down if you put the tire/wheel in the trunk face down. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a pretty magnum as a spare though.
