What did you guy get or planning to buy this Thanksgiving due to annual Thanksgiving sale.
Personally I think its just another way to scam people out of their money I dont usually buy unnecessary stuff.

It is f-ing bull shit. The items that are on sale are junk and cheap. Half the people that are on my list this year were bad and will get a lump of coal this X-Mas, or maybe a turd instead.

my spouse ran out to kohls at 7:30am this morning and there was already a 20 minutes wait in line to check out.  She looked at a few things and left.

First off, there were people out there YESTERDAY afternoon waiting in line in front of stores.

Secondly, 10% off? Hardly, there were some unreal deals. RCA 52" HDTV for 474.00 at Walmart etc...

Third, many of the Black Friday deals were available on-line this AM.

I saved lots of money today & didn't buy a thing. I even saved money with the head cold I got for Thanksgiving by using up the cold meds with all the dust & expired dates on them. It's not like I'm drinking old milk with chunks in it.

I picked up a few new toys on Black Friday at Best Buy (inline overnight starting at midnight) and Kohls (afterward):

32" Westinhouse LCD HDTV for $479.99 (my new computer monitor for my home system)
5Mp Kodak digital camara for $79.99 (just tried it out on some of my collections and it works quite well)
DVR for $79.99 (gift for someone)
2 packs of DVD-rs (100 each) for $4.99 (now I have a lifetime supply)
2Gb digital camara card for $29.99
1GB flash drive for $14.99
Scarface computer game for $14.99
varous DVDs for $5

3 pairs of black pants for $9.99 (I usually spend $25 each for them when I need new ones due to work conditions)   
4 large bath towels for $2.99 each (hey, they don't last forever in a bachlor's apartment)

The funny thing is that I got $10 Kohl and $20 Best Buy gift cards for spending so much $.....

I had to buy them or I was going to get them for Christmas from both my mother and sister.  They think that having a weeks worth (7) of towels is not enough for one person to live with.  I would much rather have them buy me something else than that, but they had been hinting on it and this was my way to prevent it from happening.  Either way, more laundry to do......
