exactly how should the lights work? do the outside ones light up brighter until you step on the brake lights then they all light up bright? any pics thanks pete

Ghoste

All lit the same until you stand on the brakes or apply a turn signal and then only the outer two get brighter.

you most likely have the wrong bulb in the inner lights, they should be a single element bulb, that are as bright as the outer 2 when just the parking lights are on, i can't remember the bulb #.

autodynamics

as of now the outer 2 are good when lights are on and get brighter when brake is depressed, however my question is about the inner light. that one is brighter than the rest until the brake is depressed then there all the same is that how its supposed to be? i have a single filament bulb on the inner one i think its a 1156.

Swap that # 1156 for a # 67.

that's the one, i could'nt remember, the inner bulb should be the same brightness as the outer ones when the parking lights are on, when you hit the brakes the outer 2 get bright, and the inner ones stay the same.

Of course when you start talking about 67's and Charger taillights, I start to get all confused and think of this...

Ghoste

Sorry, I just couldn't resist the hijack.
