I guess I have not seen the Hemi 500 pics before or just did not notice the '68 marker lights and interior. Interesting and I do wonder whatever happened to it. That '68/69 500 also has my deluxe 15" wheelcovers available in 1969 as an option on it. First advertising pic (Chrysler Corp.) I have noticed with them there. I still am not sure but redline F70-15 tires and those wheelcovers would definitely make mine unique as the wheelcovers actually look pretty nice in person.

The quarter panels don't look wright to me. The shadow on the tail stripe were it goes down, and at the very back it almost has a Superbee contour.

I noticed the rear quarter contour too and it doesn't look right to me either. The car must have been a prototype and was never sold to the public.

Car is still owned by the same person who had it in the late 70's as far as I know. I haven't seen the car since the late 1980's, and as far as I know the person who has it will likely never get rid of it or the other AERO cars he has.

Thanks!

The later images of the car don't have the distortion that the earlier/first ones have of the cars quarters. It looks normal.

The picture of it on the 80s magazine looks like it has 69 seat covers vs. the 68 covers in the press photo...

King Solomon Motors appears to be a Plymouth "stand alone" which was pretty rare even in the 60's.  Although one made it  into the 80's in SE Ohio.

Dodge did a lot of Assembly Line "Custom" vans....mild exterior stuff.

After the High Performance era died - Mr. Norm turned to doing a lot of new custom vans...inside and out.  :2thumbs:
