Hello everyone,
A good friend of mine directed me to this site, seem like a cool place to hang around in! I own a 68 Coronet R/T that is the process of restoration. Finally got it drivable this past summer, ordered new interior (which I plan to have installed next summer) and motor rebuilt. Yes, I'm very excited! This car hadn't seen the road in 11 yrs. Here are a couple pictures to show to you all.

Thank you for the nice welcome! It's great to meet new mopar fans, where I live there aren't that many, so I suppliment it by online boards.  :icon_smile_big:   That Coronet 500 looks mean! Curious what times it makes? I'm hoping to get my car on the 1/4 mile track (that's 'bout 2 hr. drive from here) next summer. I know my husband will be busy working on finishing the bodywork and try to have the car painted. He's just as excited as I am with this car. He owns a 68 Satellite which he restored 11 years ago, so he's in the groove to try to get the R/T done.
Mean318, thanks for the dodgecoronet.com link, I'll definately be checking out that site as well!
Here is another picture of my R/T, and my husbands 68 Plymouth.

To answer your question on the 68 Coronet 500 ; it runs 135mph in the 1/4 which will put it in the high 9's once the bugs are worked out. The engine is a basic 440 with aluminum heads, roller cam, roller valvetrain and a roots style blower running ~10 lbs of boost. It's a street driven monster !

Nice cars....and both 68's !  :icon_smile_big: What color are you going with on the Coronet ?

Live, love...whatever. :icon_smile_tongue:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

Wow!! Very impressive to say the least!! I can only imagine how much of a thrill that is. My husbands Satellite makes 11:59 @ 117 mph. I've been in the car with him a couple times down the track and IMO a better ride than any carnival could offer!  :icon_smile_big:
We'd like to buy a 500 c.i. kit to put on my 440. The R/T will be lemon twist yellow with black top, stripe, and interior.  :icon_smile_wink:
