Wow, it's gone up in value.  Three weeks ago, he only wanted 200,000 at the RM auction in Toronto.
I notice he didn't mention the reproduction fender tag with misinformation on it or the dent in the passenger door and rocker moulding.
He did include this info.

157499 is a real 69 500 it was my friend J Bensons car he worked in PA lived in NJ.He got the car in GA from F Burley.He did alot of  bodywork to and had all the parts.I could have got it at one time for $3500.00.The work was done on at my friend shop .Same place that had another 69 charger 500 in his yard 210749 .That was a mess but available to me for $1000.00.I let Gary Mendelow in on it.He used parts from it for .For his 69 500 to daytona clone.And sold it to a guy I know Steve K in IL whos restoring the car right.Starting friom this

I see pitting from rust around data plate , if the area that is highly visable has been overlooked what other area has been overlooked during resto . Is the price so outrageous because of a stack of gold bars in trunk ?

My point exactly Shakey. asking and getting are two different things. To be honest I don't think I could get $55-60 out of my car as it sits now.

Someone please explain to me, and maybe it's been stated in the previous thread, but how come there's no A11?
Is it just a very poor reproduction data tag? Or, did the early C500's not have the A11? If it has XX on the fender tag, it surely should have A11..

I'm going to agree in part with Ghoste. However I do have 2 500's that I've seen that don't have the A11 option listed on the fender tag. The thing that seems really off to me is the missing 925xxx as the VON. No reason it should start with a 0. The other thing that is way off is that it is listed as XX on the fender tag. Which is only about 2 months before any other cars I've seen with an XX. That early it should be XS.
