69 Charger side marker lights....... Orange front or back?

Pretty much what I sad.

I think the red ones go in back and the orange up front but I forget.   ???

noticed this on my 68 aswell, why orange in the front and red in the rear?

The tail lights are Red and the parking lights are amber so i guess they just went with the same combo on the markers ?????  ???

The same reason why trailers have red at the back end and amber the rest of the way forward.  Red is marking the end of the vehicle or trailer while amber is a warning color.  Similar to brakes lights on a car. Red means stop while the amber directional signals are just a warning device.

On mine, which has had the original paint on it until this last October, the front trim is body colored, the rear trim is covered by the tape stripe (original) and is stripe colored. 
69 RT/SE Y3 cream yellow w/tan vinyl top and black r/t stripe. non matching 440/375, 3:23, Column shift auto w/buddy seat, tan interior, am/fm w/fr to back fade, Now wears 17" magnum 500 rims and Nitto tires. Fresh repaint, new interior, new wheels and tires.

Yet factory press release photos show the rear reflector housing body color as opposed to the stripe color.   ???
