72 charger correct heater control valve question??

Where can you get a correct heater control valve for a 72 w/AC?   No one seems to have the correct part that fits like the old one.   The remains of the original is front left, front right is the new replacement and the picture in the back shows the location in the engine compartment on the PAX side rear.  Thanks Bob,

I was able to get one from Mitchell AutoParts store on E-Bay - it was $120 but looks like the original

Thanks, I looked but they don't have any listed.  Was it NOS?  I'm not even sure what the original looks like, anybody have a PIC???? thanks, ::)

I think the AC ones are hard to find regardless of year.  It seems to be a recurring topic on the 66-67 forum.
Have you tried the Chrysler dealer?

I modified this to fit.   I used the original bracket and trimmed the new bracket and bolted the two together.  bob

sorry this took a while, but here is the heater control valve off my 72 SE - got it off Mitchell Motors on E-Bay

I have a 72 se with air and I lucked out and found one on ebay for about $40.  It was brand new and in the original mopar box.
