gryphonpete, bidder12, won with a winning bid of $602.00. That`s a lot of loot for a bunch of small pieces of scrap.

So at $500, what were they, Gold?  ;)

Let's just hope the person who dropped $600 is someone we know. If not, oh well.  :rotz:

I think he is one of them there Canucks!   :rotz:

Right off the bat I noticed the name.  Not that I recognize the user name but the University of Guelph is just down the road and their hockey team is known as the Gryphons, so I figured he was from Guelph, or perhaps is alumni.

Makes sense to me....I looked at his other purchases and most were hockey equipment from Ontario.

I don't get why anyone would pay over $20 for them. Unless you are some kind of fanatical collector of tags....or you are pure evil and are into cloning cars.

Don, you are right, there is something really odd about someone paying $600 for something that potentially cannot help them somehow, someway.

I also think the seller had the perfect selling point...this site. He used it for what he wanted to do. Congrats to the guy who won them. Let's just hope he does the right thing.

ummm..........the tags

Yes, I see that, but what's the plan now?  ;D What happens to them?  ;D

Pistolpete

Actually did not go to U of G, my previous company was called Gryphon......hence the name, plans for the tags are more along the lines of what the first guy thought, frame'em and get'em on display with Claudia when shes finished (april?)

Hey Shakey, I may be showing her in Speedorama at the international center next spring, I'll let you know if it happens.
