....were on my computer so I finally put them up on photobucket.  All of the pictures are from the AeroWarriors Reunion at Talladega in 2004.  I thought you guys might like it.  Here's the link.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this one before on the old site.  I can't recall who it is.

Thanks for sharing. When you see the old girls in today's settings, it hits hard the length the factories went to be able to legally race cars on the tracks. Imagine many mainstream (MacLaren, Ferrari, and other non-mass produced manufacturers exempt) companies trying that today in a world where lawsuits are a dime a dozen.

got any info on this car?

chargerrt

I don't really have any info on it.  All I know is that it's the only right hand drive Daytona.  I'm sure someone knows about it though

That Aussie car belongs to John, the owner of Five Star Productions. He owns three wing cars now, if I'm not mistaken.

On page 2, photos #22. Look at the nose cone of the Daytona, he has turn signals under the headlight doors. They are recessed. Very cool, wonder if its a clone or real Daytona.

And if you can find the old Mopar Collectors Guide with DartGirl on the cover, you can read about it and its shipment from Ozland to California and then the cross-country driving trip they took with it.

He's not planning on converting it back to left-hand drive.

That is a little different look.  I can still see the original turn signal lens behind the grille, so I don't understand why they did that.  It's hard to say whether it's an original Daytona or not just from one photo, but my guess is it's real.  The rear window plug is in, and the hood doesn't appear to have any reinforcing ribs.  That's just a guess though.

i talk 2 john lots on the moparstyle board and yes it is a real daytona
