In the latest issue of Mopar Muscle magazine there is a story of a 62 Plymouth that was converted from a four door to a two door.

It's an interesting story that I can add to a little. The four door was originally sold from the dealership I work at. If you look at the last page of the article you can see the restored old pot metal dealership name tag they used back then. It says "Clare E Wagner and Sons".

When I first started working for them I remember the little old lady that owned it bringing it in for service once in a while. I kinda hated getting that car or one of the other little old ladies Chrysler products to inspect because the rear brake drums were always a such pain to remove.

She always kept the car in nice shape. I can remember people saying "too bad it's a four door". Obviously thats been fixed.

Real nice car now. :yesnod:

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Cool story Plum ! I hear ya on those old tapered axle 3rd members. A friend has one on his 64 Polara and we'll be pulling the thing apart for a pig swap in the spring....NOT looking forward to that job !  :P
