73' Charger SE vs. 73' Charger Rally

Yo,
A few months ago I sold my original 73' SE Charger (400 2bbl, original paint & interior, great shape, had it for 13 years). I had to catch upon some bills and I was wanting a Rally. I got a good penny for the SE.
I then picked up a 73' Rally (400 magnum, nice shape, needed minor body work and paint).
Well the Rally has the body work completed and is ready for paint, I also put some money into buying some parts that it needed, around $1000. The guy that I sold the SE to wants to trade me for my Rally.
The only reason I would want the SE back is sentimenatl reasons and the fact that it has the original paint and interior. The guy wanted to sell it back to me, 2 weeks after I sold it to him, but I allready spent my $ on the Rally.
Question is, as far as being worth more and being rare, which Charger would be worth more $ and I know that there were far less Rally's made then SE's but I need an opinion on this one.
Just some opinions.
I was going to wait till' tax time to buy the SE back and have my Rally and SE.
Please do not laugh.

I really miss the 150 speedo in the rally I had, and the bulge hood, and it was a faster car, but my se is  a much nicer car in regards to interior shape and lack of body rust. But still I'ld have to think the rally's are  more rare, thus more $$$. It seems like there are way more SE survivors out there.

I think the Rally is rarer, and with the more potent magnum probably more "desireable". However, what you do is up to you. A cool car vs and equally cool car? Me personally, I'd try to buy back the SE, and keep the Rally as well. If not possible, I'd probably trade for the sentimental reasons. I'm less about "rarity" or "desireablility", and more about owning cool cars I love. And for me, the one I had for over a decade would win out over the one that's more "desireable" for the collector crowd. It's entirely your decision, but IMO, either way you win.

Wow,
You guys are right. I should  keep the Rally & buy back the SE ! I lost sleep when I sold the SE, not having a Charger in the garage was a bad, bad feeling. A empty feeling.
   Only Charger people understand.

That ones easy. Buy 5 more, and have a Charger for every day of the week.  :icon_smile_wink:
