I snagged these about a year ago from a Ferd site I hang out on now & then.
I don't remember the complete story, but the pics are interesting nonetheless.
They were taken by a guy who worked for Ford Motor Co. in the 60's in the crash test dept.
I wish he posted more, they are pretty interesting.

Here's one with a '66 Galaxie vs. what looks like to be a guardrail.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The background of those pics look very much like the current test track Ford uses out in Dearborn MI.  I wonder if it is the same?
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

Beats me. :shruggy:
Looks like someone did some 'crash testing' through that fence at the top of the hill, though. :D
