I used Horseless Carriage in Paterson, NJ to transport my '70 R/T from Spokane, WA to NJ when I bought it. Doesn't get more "nationwide' than that. I've had good experiences with them, very professional. Other people I know who have used them also had good experiences.
They specialize in the transport of antique & collector cars.

I used "Passport Transport" to move my two (2) Chargers from Seattle to Utah.  Whatever you do, I would highly recommend that you use a closed carrier.  Had problems with an open carrier that moved my Monte Carlo.  Passport was only a few more bucks than the open carrier and well worth it.  They were very professional and were carrying some very expensive vintage vehicles with mine.

Fed Ex delivers cars also by ground in closed trailers. Johhny 440 six pak had it done a while back. Hopefully he'll chime in here and give you more info.

I use Passport Transport as well.  A little more money but worth it.

Beware of the cheaper outfits (brokers).  They unload the cars @ Satellite yards so another driver coming thru can haul it.

Make sure you tell them NOT to use the frame rail holes to hook into.  It'll rip them right out.  DAMHIK!

I certainly agree with all of that.  Passport moved my car from Chicago to San Francisco, covered and dropped it off right where I needed it, and that ain't easy in San Fran when you are driving a big 18 wheeler.  Here is that baby in the truck, safe and warm.  Stay away from those brokers, which I found most are.  Kim
