It looks lke Billy Cards car from NY but being as this cars in Canada I know Cards car is 355***something, D Fortin happens to have had one of Dave Patik's.Dave who has owned several restoreable wingcars cars before 1979. Might be this one as recorded in 1979.

DOH!

You're right.  Bill's car is in the 355 range.  My spreadsheet with all that info is at the office - I was going by the looks of the car (B5/B5 white wing, 440auto).

Nice looking car though!

I checked my records, and I had already logged that car from the Legendary ad earlier this year.  I also looked at the Legendary website again, and it said the car has sold (but no dollar figure listed).

Denis recently sold his car to Legendary.   It is the Dave Patik car from way back when.  Nice car with a good history and a good color combo.  It's already listed as "sold" on the LMC website.

How much did it sell for ?

Bill still owns it, he's asked me to try and place the car with a new owner - asking $275,000... thanks...

Bill's car is fantastic.  If there is a 440 Daytona on the planet worth $275k, it is that car.  One owner, low mileage, never been registered, cool options/color combination, lots of documentation, pristine restoration by Vance Cummins (who is getting my car in 2 weeks), and those redlines that you see on the car are not reproductions - they are date-correct NOS tires that he found and bought.

From a concours-restoration standpoint, I doubt anyone could find a thing wrong with that car.

I would have liked to see the reference original pictures before it was taken apart. And what it looked like completly intact before the restoration process

I've only seen Bill's Daytona once, and I agree with Gene. If there is a car that is as close to perfection as can be, it would be that car. I wasn't aware of who restored the car until I talked to Gene about it at the Monster Mopar.

Hopefully your car turns out just as well Gene.
