Cordless impact. Anyone own one?

I went to the wrecking yard yesterday to get a reclining mechanism for my Dakota and the guy who pulled the seat for me had a cordless impact that seemed to work pretty well . Until then I had assumed they were probably pretty gutless considering the work required of them but apparently there are some that do ok. Which one do you have and do you like it? How much do you get out of them before the battery is done?

I don't own one, but a bunch of the mechanics at work use them. Being a motorcycle shop, they don't usually need tons of torque, so they only have the 3/8th drive versions. They all seem to really like them & rarely need battery replacements.
As with any cordless tool being used sort of infrequently at home, I'd be mostly concerned about battery life...you know, from sitting on your bench for 2 or 3 weeks without use. If the battery would interchange with a handfull of other tools you have, it would probably last longer.

I sold some, and they pulled hard. Never had a complaint about them, outside that they sold rather slow. I should have kept one, but given my luck, the charger would have ended up in the trash fire like my cordless drill's charger did, so i'd be SOL anyways.

I have used the Snap on Unit , nice piece over 500 ft lbs torque with good battery life

I don't own one, but I've used a 1/2 inch Craftsmen a couple of times that a friend owns, and it's amazing how much power it has. It's at least as powerful, maybe more so, as my 25+ year old Mac air impact. I don't know on battery life, but even with hard continuous use such as rear end U-bolts removal in the JY along with all the other nuts/bolts related to retrieving a rear end housing, it didn't show any power loss.

Since I can borrow one, I can't justify buying one for an occasional JY trip, but I REALLY want to buy one even if I don't really need it.
