Three pin wiring connector for 727 transmission

Hi guys (first proper post on the new forum!)

Imagine my disappointment this morning on starting my Charger to discover that I couldn't get any drive.  A quick check underneath revealed three wires hanging down.  And I am missing the connector that these wire into, that you then slip over the three pins on the transmission.  Don't know where it's got to - I've looked all over for it.

Do any of you chaps know where I can get hold of one of these three hole wiring connectors that will ship to the UK?  Can't see them on the Year One site.

It was starting to rain and I'm sure she did it on purpose so she wouldn't get wet.

Appreciate any advice and thanks for your time.  Cheers, Tim

I think you are describing the Nuetral start switch wiring, you can get that part from Year one hardens, Laysons, Etc.  Your car should not have started w/o that wire unless you jump the starter relay.

yes, Natcho, but the way I understand it his car starts, but he can't put it in Drive.  Thats linkage or internal (bands).  I don't think that wire is his problem.

Yep - the black plastic/rubber connector that the three wires go into is missing - so I can't connect them to the three pins on the transmission.  It's just that connector I need - so I'm busy surfing trying to track one down.  Thanks for your comments guys.

RBI26502 $21.50
wire harness
neutral safety switch

althought I think any dealer up there must have them but on the web this is the cheaper I have found. By the way I need it too. I had to repair mine myself with epoxy glue.

about problem... maybe just linkage loosen... if not, then no oil or pressure on tranny valve body I think.

Thanks for your help chaps - I should have waited a little longer for your advice and I'd have saved myself some money.  I bought one on e-bay yesterday but it cost me $51 - so I could have saved $30 if I'd gone to buymopar.com!  Doh!  At least they're sending it air-mail so I should have it fairly quickly.

Anyway - it's on my favourites list now - for next time...

Thanks again guys.  I got a lot of great help from the old forum when I was getting her on the road - it's a great site!

Ever get the transmission in gear? Has the transmission been serviced since you had the car?

Rotsparts - Yep - had the transmission rebuilt a couple of years ago - she's been running fine until the connector went awol.  I'm hoping it's just a case of fitting the new one and she'll be up and running again.

Supplementary question - Looks like I have two black wires and one brown wire - any idea which one goes where?

Black wires ( one is white traced ) are reverse lamp function goes on outer terminals no matter wich one where. Becarefull because one is powered with ignition key on ACC on RUN position, coming from ACC side of fuse box...

Brown wire is the Neutral/Parking ground to Starter relay, and on 73/74 is also spliced to inside the cab to the seatblets controls/buzzer, is center terminal
