Hello,

I am curious to write and see if anyone can help direct me in the right direction about a question I have about my 69' Charger. Since I'm new to restoration, I don't know many of the correct names/terminology just yet, so please bear with me, lol....

Okay, if you are looking right at the back of a 69' Charger, you're standing right behind it.  If you look completely down off to the extreme lower side corners (both left and right), I'm in need of replacing. I didn't know if any auto body shops sell just these small corners for a 69' Charger or not. If any info/tips/contact links exist I'd love to hear about it....Thank you for your help.
Kind regards,
Aaron

They need a little tweaking, they're better than making your own , good luck grasshopper !!!!!!

bull

They look perfect until you try to install them and then you have to cut 200 tiny pieces off and tweak and bend to get them to fit. Other than that they're ok. :icon_smile_dissapprove:

Thank you for the responses fellas. It's a bummer that they are a pain in the %$#@ to work with it sounds... :-\.  Without making them myself, I may have no choice but to opt with them n' see how well I can get em' to work....Thanks again for the name of the part + feedback on what to expect!
If you had to choose...which company would you buy from? autobodyspecialt.com and chargerspecialties.com both have them available. Which of the two would you recommend (if any)? Or is there another site that sells better priced/better quality?
Thanks again,
Aaron

I like to Use Sherman & Associates for my sheet metal parts for 2 reasons. #1 they are close to my house, can pick up in person & #2 they have been in that Business much longer then most of the others. Goodmark would be a good choice also. LEON.

Or, you can just fill them in with Bondo, Actually really Bad Idea but that is a Pet Peeve of mine that upsets me & one of the first things I look at/for on a Charger. Seems like half the Chargesr I look at dont have any of the 2 corner lines at all, Totally gone, Quarters runs into rear valance like it's all one peice. I really hate this & first thing I think of is a Earl Scheibed Maaco peice of crap $199 paint job. LEON.

i bought mine from autobodyspecialt.com . they weren't bad. they just needed a little tweaking. Rene
I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

AutoRust

We use the all the time. I think everyone carries the same product from the same manufacture. Every section of sheetmetal I buy needs some tweaking. Every section.
We are just glad we have something to work with. 20 Years ago we had nothing, so we had to fabricate everything. That little corner is tough, Compound curves are difficult to make, then its even tougher when its that small.
Buy them from your preferred supplier, and take your time and make them fit.  you will be happy when your done.

Nothing to see here folks, its just a Bluesmobile

Thanks again guys! We'll try to work with them as best as we can. I'm sure I'll be writing back on here for tips as progress continues....

Kind regards,
Aaron
