I have recently acquired a Carter AVS carberator. The owner claimed it was from a 71 383 Magnum. I know some of the 383 Magnum autos had a carter on them. I can't find any number info in my books on this carb. The numbers on the carb are A3 6125S. Can anyone tell me what the carb is correct for?   ???

A 6125S is for a 1971 383 HP automatic. Sounds like you have what the guy said it was.
