How many of you guys out there that have a 71-74 Charger would be interested in a fiberglass power bulge hood?   :yesnod:

I am not selling anything, but I know like you guys, finding a power bulge hood is not easy and when one is found it is usually expensive...

I know of a number of manufactures of fiberglass parts make hoods for this model.  Flat, six-pack, hemi scoops...fowl...I mean cowl hoods....  Sorry, my bad!  :devil:  Maybe we can convince someone!

But, I can't find anyone that makes a fiberglass hood with the power bulge!  I don't know why this is...it is the most coveted hood for this model....I know cars that are totally beat up are bought just for the power bulge hood....

Ok...ok...I'm through venting...

Or, does anyone care?  :yesnod:  :rotz:  ???

Unless, someone out there knows of someone who does make this hood.  Than I am just waisting my time....

I'm probably to late with my Response but that Place in Toronto makes them. I've been there in Person. My Buddy bought a hood from them. The Quality looked good. LEON.

How about a fiberglass 71 super bee hood with the cutout? that would lighten my baybe up a bit and still keep it looking stock.

It's non-functional.  I swapped mine out with one from an R/T.  I reworked it so I could take out the baseplate. It looked good as you could see the motor and it helped with venting heat.  Only drawback was the base helped support the louvers-over time they sagged a bit.

I agree with 71Bee though, stock hood weighs a ton, a 25# hood would be nice!

strictly ornamental. it was designed to resemble a valve cover. I like the look, but I'm not going any faster because of it.  ;)

I like the look... as I stated IMHO is the best look of the Bulged hood options. I don't care is functionally or not. is A LOT  better that just a plain bulged hood, and looks better than the louvered one, what aren't functionally either.

Haven't got anything from them, just knew they made things.  Since there just an hour down the road, I would travel down and make sure what I was getting was exactly what I wanted.  Fair call on the warning, though...tanx!

The one on eBay is an R/T louvered hood....which is nice, but I was looking for the standard bulge hood...
