hey guys hope you can help. I have a 70 coronet, I know it's not a charger, I have two of those. I lost spark coming out of the distributer, I have spark coming out of the coil going in to the distributer but not out of the distributor. I have changed the brain with a couple I had laying around -I dont know if these worked. Could it be something in the distributor itself.

Welcome
you either have a bad coil wire or you left the rotor out

i wish it was that easy any one have any outher  ideas   ???????? ???

if you have spark at coil  and not on plugs, it could just one( or several ) of these 5 points:

1-Coil wire to Cap, damaged
2-Damage or Rotor, or just tab bended.
3-Distribuitor cap Damaged.
4-Spark plugs wires damaged.
5-Spark Plugs damaged.

There is not more to check, beside that, check if wire terminals arre maiking contact with coil internal terminal and cap terminal, silicon wire are not cut at terminals etc...

The pickup could be bad. Check the relucter gap while you're in there....it should be .008.
