'68 parking light question

 I was wondering if there was a good way to make my front parking lights stay on with the headlights on my '68 Charger?  I found this old thread http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,10373.0.html but it didn't seem to give any real clear answers.  Does anyone have a better way?  My original thought was to add a jumper wire from the existing lights to the side markers but I'm not an electrician and it occured to me that this might cause unexpected problems.  I have a wiring diagram, but it looks like spagette to me  :ahum:

So, does anyone know the right way and can explain it to a non-electrical type person in simple english?  :P
