I'm trying to decode my gearbox, any ideas where I could see what these numbers mean? It's a 10 bolt and the numbers on it are G99129, any ideas? Thanks

Bob

If the "10-bolt gearbox" is a Mopar 833, the raised casting numbers are useless for identification purposes. Look for a raised pad on the passenger side of the main case, the stamped data will identify the trans. If there is no raised pad the trans is '67 or earlier.

This might help:
