It appears that the upgrade forces a login and many, many of you have forgotten your passwords and didn't set up any reminders. Contact me directly through helpmelogin@dodgecharger.com and I'll help sort it out.

I'd like to say I went back for the series but it was for a much sadder occassion.  I didn't get to a game but I did get an official overpriced fitted cap from the pro shop yesterday  :icon_smile_wink:

But I got on the plane and went home and rented a 3.5 300 at Hertz.   I liked it a heluva lot... except for vision while backing up.    Otherwise the 3.5 was a fine motor and the it had the AWD so it was very surefooted in the rain and on all road surfaces.      I'd probably consider it  for a  pretty good commuter car in this form.     It was very comfy with the leather package and had lots of room...  OK, the trunk isn't quite up to '69 standards  ;D
The bad part...   we loaded up my sisters and the LR window stuck down cause somebody had to talk to somebody...   being a rental with 15K miles who knows what abuse it's seen but it pretty much ph8cked up the night because it had was raining on and off on Sunday.    Ended up duct taping a garbage bag to the side of the car.   That was very noisy.   I took it off the next day and put the heater on high.   I called into hertz's road side # to get a problem report and I ended up getting the $50 upgrade charge knocked off my bill.

Saturday my friend showed up at the hotel to take us out...    He gets a company car a couple weeks a month as he works for D-C.    So I walk out and Lisa asks what does he drive... I say I dunno right now... then I see a metallic black Charger SRT-8 with all the bells and whistles pulling into the drive and I said... he's here  :icon_smile_big:

It had GPS, moonroof, the 6.1, leather... Dam! What a nice ride and it smoked them at the lights and we went out on m-59 and was cruising 120 like nothing.    I know we have some people that are less than in love with the magnum sedan but SOB I really like the SRT-8 version  :yesnod:
If somebody dropped $43K in unmarked bills in an envelope in front of me I'd probably go get one.

A couple pics for the heluva it.   Oh yeah... GO TIGERS!

Old Moparz

Hey Brian,

I have the Hemi in my 5500 pound truck with a 3.92 rear, & it moves nicely. I can't imagine the same set up in a much lighter car, it has to fly. The 300 is one of my favorite new cars in the last few years, & nicer looking than the Charger I think. I'm afraid to test drive toys like these because I'll probably like my old iron less & less. When I saw that the Challenger was a go, I actually had the thought I'd be selling off a couple of things to get one later on.

The Tigers have some park by the way. I saw those Tiger statues on TV & thought they looked great.
