I'm just about to install a Hurst Shifter on my Charger, 4 speed side loader, now will the current shifter stick I have on there fit the Hurst Shifter? It's a Hurst Competition Plus, the Hurst Shifter Stick's are not readily available over here in England so ideally I want to use the current stick, thanks

It depends on which stick you have now, if its an Inland stick, no it wont, if its a slip in style, no again. If you have a bolt in stick then it should fit as the bolt pattern is the same for most of the Hurst Comp. Plus shifters. A picture would help. Good luck.

The Inland was changed to the Hurst in mid 68 but from the pics, it looks like you have an Inland.  I have heard of people cobbling adaptors together to put an Inland stick on the Hurst shifter but you may have to find some kind soul from the Colonies who could mail the Hurst one to you.

Ok, my Dad is going to have a good look now that it's out so we'll see, cheers
