One of the few things I did not get when I bought my Charger, was the bumper jack. I think there is a mysterious creature that removes jacks from the trunks of cars and takes them away forever, sorta like a tooth fairy you know. Anyway. I finally was able to buy one on ebag and it will be on its way shortly. It is painted grey and claims it came out of a 70 Charger. I did not get a handle, but I think I have one of those. Is the jack from a 70 diff than a 68 and 69? I have heard they were but have not checked the part numbers. Were all 70 charger jacks grey. I bid on a black one but did not get it. I have a buds 69 jack at the shop and it is dated 12/68 and its grey. These are all t types that I have seen.

not sure, but I would think the '70 jack would be different because of the front bumper. I'm sure the '70 guys will chime in.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Thanks, Charger Fan. I did see those pics on the 70 website after I posted on here. I went back to look at the one on ebay that I did not get and you could see the black overspray on the upright post and it looked fresh and flat. There were no closeups on ebay. I did buy a grey jack but did not ask about the date code. I really did not expect to get it after I have lost so many at the last second. I would like for you to post the Length of your handle and t post on the 70 site. That really helps out.

Yeah, I meant to post pics of it yesterday, but the weekend was kinda hectic. I'll try to dig it out & post some pics when I get home tonight.

When I bought my Charger, it did not have a jack. I used a fake one just for show while I was looking to buy one.
They were all going for about $200-$300!!!!! Just the other day, the guy I bought the Charger from was selling a jack, stand and lug wrench on Eboay!!!!! THE ORIGINAL ONE THAT CAME WITH MY CAR!! I was pissed he did not offer it to me. Needless to say, I had to bid on it. I HAD to have that jack. I won the auction with a $256 bid!!!
For MY jack!!!!
THAT SUCKS!

Thats just not cool man. You bought the car, it's your jack IMO

Dave, the guy I bought my charger from was extremely cool, even gave me the original hub caps and a bunch of extra stuff. He's a member on here. The best experience I ever had with the purchase of a car.

I agree, that does suck. Oh well, at least your Charger & jack are reunited again. :icon_smile_tongue:

Ok Fastmark (& DD ;) ), I updated the thread on the '70 site. :)
