Reproduction Fuel Sending Unit

I need to replace my fuel sending unit. I have read on this forum and other places that alot of them don't work correctly out of the box. Some people have to bend them and such for them to read correctly? I would love to avoid this. Where does everyone get their units from that work correctly.

i got mine from NAPA..... and yes i had to bend the loat arm to get it accurate. Three atempts and is still a little off ,but good enough for me

Look around.  There are stainless steel versions available as well as the standard plated variety.  Don't recall where.  Seems like there have been threads about this on here.

I got mine from Car Quest.

There is a thread where we spoke about the different ones.

I think it was included in the thread where I posted about my fuel tank installation.
