I was going through some old pictures and thought you guys would appreciate them. These begin back in '77 (age 17) with my first hotrod, a 65 Plymouth 383 4spd Satellite. Keep in mind that the 75 Fury in the pictures is only 2 years old!

I had the sell her, the "old man" didn't approve. I think I got 500.00 bucks for her at the time.

This was my first Charger, 73, 400, auto, power windows, and sunroof. My Dad ordered this car new in 73, and I bought it from him at age 20. She ended up rotting badly, the whole floor was gone, and she was junked.

I got my one and only E body when I was 23. I pieced her together form several different cars. She was a 383, 4spd car. I added a 4:10 Dana, Shaker hood, and a 6 pac manifold. She was the fastest car I had owned until my 71 R/T.
She disappeared one stormy night and turned up in Newark stripped of EVERYTHING. I was pissed!

AHHHHH the old days!   :icon_smile_big:

Wow great pictures! Thanks for posting! Love that 65! My father had a 73 Charger just like that one too. His was blue with the white top and sunroof. I remember it from when i was a kid in the late 70's. Great car.

Love seeing those old photos.  I can still remember the day when the muscle car roamed freely on the streets and it was common to see two are three E and B bodies sitting in driveways.

Yep, I remember when you could see musclecars that had that 'well used' look to them, cruising around everywhere.
Thanks for sharing the pics!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I miss ALL of them, but the 65 was my favorite. Kind of like a one night stand with a GREAT looking female! But I do have another one on the way. I miss the Charger to, it was a great car. I just didn't have the space back then or I would have saved her. I had a lot of memories in that one (both front AND back seats)! Those truly were the good old days. I smoked al lot of brand X cars with that 'Cuda, she could really move. Traction was a problem, she spun all the way through 3rd gear! You could never predict which way that rear would go. I would have loved to have kept them all, but then again I wouldn't have the ones I do now.......

being only 2 years old in 1977 i can only imagine what life was like on the streets back then... :drive:

That 65 really looks great with the slots. Being the same age i dig that look my 68 R/T had slots on it in 79.
i need to see if i have any pictures from back then, was more interested in driving than taking pictures.

Thanks for posting those. It's so cool seeing old pix, I actually like them better than current ones.

Maybe part of that reason is that my mother once moved & left behind an entire suitcase full of old family photos.  ::)
