We have been having lots of Monarchs here in Kansas on their way south. Noticed a crysalis hanging from our front porch railing the other day. I knew what it was and today we have a Monarch drying its wings getting ready to head south. Our neighbors have lots of flowers a few doors down and there have been lots of them down there.

This is what they look like for a couple weeks in Morro Bay, CA.  I think it is the largest breeding ground for them.

Have them by the bunch on the south shore of Long Island, NY. All flying southwesterly. Amazing how they know which way to go.
