1.  Hey folks, I'm rebuilding my Holley750 CFM 3310 and am adding this secondary metering block:

http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/holconkit1.html

I'm wondering what would be good baseline settings for main jets, secondary jets, accelerator pump shooter, and secondary spring?  Carb is going on basically stock low power (10.1 to 1 compression?) 69 440 with 1 3/4" primary tube headers (the Headmans), A-833 4-Speed, and 2.94 geared 8 3/4.  I figure it's better to be too rich than too lean.  Carb was supposedly last used on a Ford 289 years ago.  How do I work with the "clutch head" screws"?

2.  Any tips or tricks on setting initial timing with the MoPar Performance Ignition kit to get the engine up and running?  I had a hard time finding Top Dead Centre firing on #1, and setting initial advance.  I do not plan on hooking up the vacuum advance.  Thanks for any help

I would start with 76 jets in the rear
with the engine at TDC set the dist with the reluctor tab just past the pick up coil & it should fire instantly & adjust from there

A blade type screwdriver used gently will get the clutch heads out but go easy.

Nick, I have a like new if interested also. PM me if you want. I work 7 to 4 Mon-Fri. If the holley doesn't work out for you in the long run.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

Chryco Psycho

you can buy clutch tip screwdrivers if you hunt a little

Many thanks again guys.  I got the metering block today and it already had the 76 Jets in there!  I'll go looking for the clutch head driver later today.  Thanks for the offer Mark, hopefully this Holley will work as it should.  With any luck, by noon on Friday I'll have it up and running.  Thanks again
