I dunno, but he sure seemed pretty understanding about the whole thing.  I never particularly cared for him as a racer but you gotta respect somebody who can say it's just hard racing when they get taken out on the last lap of a race they are leading.

I give Jr. a hell of a lot of credit for what he said. Or what he did not say. If it was Stewert or Gordon they would still be cryin. What Vickers did was BS. But it was something every driver has done sometime in thier career.

There's quite a difference between "racing hard" & driving like a FNG! Dale Sr. would have never endangered another drivers life with a bone head move like that. Yea, "Rubbin is Racin", but Vickers is a moron who just got in over his head when the pressure was on and got a win by trashing two other drivers who have a legitimate chance to win the Cup.

This is what happens when they elevate these young guns way too soon.

Nice going Vickers.......16th in the standings & he takes out the drivers who are # 6 [Jr] & #8 [Jimmy] in the Nextel Cup. What a Asswipe.

Vickers didn't take out The Cheater or Dale the Snail jr on purpose.  Like someone said, he "just ran out of talent."  I'm just glad the Johnson or Dale Jr., both, didn't win the race.

I guess if someone is a fan of the # 8 & # 48, he did something wrong.  Me, personally, I hate the # 48 and hate the # 8 even more, perhaps that is why I feel he didn't do anything wrong.

I realize that, if he would've done it again, he should've did it coming off turn 2, that way they would'nt had of gone back into traffic.

the only thing that vickers did wrong was think he had a chance to pass both the 8 and 48.  They were going past the 8, but with so little track left, there's no way he could have past the 48 on speed.  Whether he tapped the 48 on purpose or not is something only vickers knows for sure.
