Hey motorcycle riders - watch out for deer! (they hurt like hell!)

I hit a deer spring 2005 with the 69 Charger. Actually, he hit me. He was running out and tried to double back. His chest hit the drivers side door and dented it. I wanted to get down the road a bit to a store parking lot as it was night and I wanted to see the damage. About 30 seconds later I hear a loud "Pop", it was the dent popping itself out! In the end I had a small crease that went from the door handle to the rear quarter. His fur was stuck between the handle and the door. I bet the handle cut him open.

Wow!! Count your blessings dude! Deer and motorcycle normally takes out both. Glad to hear you made out "ok" with the encounter. Like mentioned before the motorcycle can be replaced. I've heard of a wild turkey flying across the thruway here in NY took the rider right off the bike and the rider probably did not know what hit him.

One night a few months back I encountered a whole herd.  Lucky for me I managed to avoid all of them. (or they avoided me)
