I love the look of yours!  Did you shave off the side marker lights?
Jayson

autodynamics

yes.side markers emblems drip rails all gone...

One picture didn't show but if I had the means, I'd put a 5.7/6.1 in my ride and other things. Stock is not so fun at times when you're insane and use it as a daily driver like i do.

Hopefully I can sell mine, in order to get a project to "modernize" a '69 a bit and do it soon. Otherwise it will take a while. Just saying that 'causes a stir in some people, or I've gotten puzzled looks.."why don't you just get a new Charger?" "why would you want to put in a modern hemi?" :brickwall:

:drool5:  Very Nice!  Not all of us only prefer stock, I like em all. Keep the pics coming.     How much did you have to modify the magnumforce spindles to get them to work with the baer brakes? The guy at Baer said they had trouble making it work?

Um...  not really.    Pete built his car from the ground up.  Mike re-engineered a car he bought already built from Washington state.   Not knocking either but don't get them confused.

Pete's a good guy.  He's always looking to take things to the next level.    He taken a lot of flak from the resto-weenies before.

the route I am taking!  I want a "sexy-tough" looking muscle car.  One that says I mean business, but you can take it out for a night on the town and don't look like an ass hole.  This will be my car for cruizin'!  and the occasional fancy night out with the wife.  There ain't nothing like showing up to a fancy restaurant, or (say for my instances) a Marine Corps Ball at a fancy rented out 5 star hotel, rumbling up in a charger that is then parked right next to a sexy looking new Chrysler 300 limo.  Don't care how much the limo cost to rent, my garage build (mostly) Charger is getting more attention!
Jayson

autodynamics

Exactly build them to drive them! Pure sex!

yeah Pete...    how dare you...     putting a 6.1L hemi into a second gen...       who does that...       shame on you        :smilielol:

Just remember the purists over in the slow lane going 50mph when you pass them at 80 getting more than twice the gas mileage and have more power     :2thumbs:

Fired up the other day - run a little weird on the 5.7L PCM but its enough to get her around - Bled the clutch and found a leak on the hydroboost...    want to fix that before I fill and bleed the brake system - after that she is good to move around just fine...        then finish up the interior for now and buy more stuff

Autodynamics and Mr Angry are both a massive inspiration to me for my 68!

After stripping most of my car down, I must say that I am not too impressed in the way some things are done on this car. Granted it is 40+ years old, but I am now taking this opportunity to re engineer a lot of the small stuff to make it more practical, stronger, better looking, easier to work on and safer!

It can't be much worse than the hack job the previous owner(s) did to the car!
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

PA Dodger

I'm inspired by what you,Rolling Thunder, Norway, etc are doing. You guys did the homework and got right. It's the goobers who got the low profile tire thing and wrong wheels, and wrong ride height thing wrong that seems to leave many people not liking it.
I also like to let you guys work the bugs out of the new gen engine swaps and hydroboost stuff. My project would be dead in the water if I ran into some of the problems you have worked through.

Not exactly true and I am not confused, trust me.  Mike is a good friend of mine and has been since he bought the car here in Washington state......hint, hint.

You have a really great and well built car....something to be very proud of.
