after 6 long months the car is almost home. i painted it ford gt blue and ghost stripe the rear tail in, and added hemi on the side since its gonna have  a 6.1 in it. tomorrow they shoot clear and then block wet sanding. then polish. finally i can start putting some goody's back on the car.

COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just as nice as mine!

  the seats headliner, carpet console are in ... i still have audio to do power windows and door locks. and interior panels... i will post better pics soon all the glass is in now... and btw i got my 6.1 also will post pics on that later.....this week baer brakes  go in and hotckis sway bars and the rest of the suspension.

PICS WILL BE COMING SOON.. HERE IS A PIC OF THE 6.1 THAT WILL BE GOING IN SOON... AFTER I AQUIRE ALL THE PARTS. THE SEATS ARE CORBAEU AND I HAD THE SEATS BOTH FRONT AND BACK RECOVERED IN THE SAME PATTERN EXCEPT IN LEATHER. ALL SIDE MARKERS RAINGUTTERS, ANTENNA, CHARGER EMBLEMS, FACTORY SEEMS WERE ALL FILLED IN AND SMOOTHED OUT. IM NOT ONE IN DOING DRASTIC CHANGES BUT THESE WERE ALL SUBTLE CHANGES. AS FOR THE POWER PLANT ITS GOING TO BE A NEW 6.1 HEMI WITH A 5 SPEED AUTO USING  THE FACTORY SHIFTER AND CONSOLE. SUSPENSION WILL BE BAER BRAKES AND HOTCHKIS SUPSENSION. ITS GOING TO HAVE FACTORY AIR AND HEAT USING THE FACTORY CONTROLS. AS FOR THE RADIO ITS STOCK AM, BUT WILL FEED A 5 CHANNEL AMP THROUGH A LINE DRIVER AND WILL HAVE AN IPOD CONNECTION ALL THROUGH THE FACTORY HEAD UNIT, WITH OUT ADDING A NEW RADIO. THE CAR WILL DRIVE, STOP PERFORM NEW AND IMPROVED.

Man that's a good looking build in progress.  I'm officially jealous!  I'm reminded for some strange reason of that scene in the TV show "Married with Children" where Al gets hit on by the two gorgeous blonds and in good conscience he finally turns them down.  But then he goes straight home to Peg, grabs her arm and heads up to the bedroom and just before he does, he pulls out a blond wig and says – "Here, put this on!".  So all I need is a way of making my daily driver where a coat of Ford GT Blue, then I'm set.

what are those wheels ?  they look like Eagle 212's ?   im curious about the size, backspacing and tire sizes...    looks great on your car
