Hi,
Was selling the 69 Superbee and someone was asking me exactually what options it came with. Can someone decode this?

Thanks Nick

N96 R11 V21 V8X END
A40 A62 J25 J45 M21 M46
R4 R4 H2X X9 610 239748
E63 D21 WM23 H96 285920

B Bodyman

um,pretty nice car,sure you want to sell it ? it's a 383 4 speed ramcharger hood car,in red,with black stripes,black interior,and black bumble bee stripe,I'd keep that and sell your charger,unless you have a 68 R/T charger. on the bottom line WM23H96 should read WH23H9G,G=St.Louis factory.

bsakal

N96 = ramcharger hood
R11 = music master AM radio
V21 = hood performance tape treatment package
V8X = black rear stripe

A40 = Dodge Spring Special B (?)
A62 = Rallye instrument cluster
J25 = 3 speed wipers
J45 = (not sure about this one its hood pins in '70, '71)
M21 = drip through moldings
M46 = Air scoop (quarter panel simulated)

R4 = Bright Red Exterior
H2X = Black interior bench seats
X9 = upper door frame paint color black
610 = projected build date
239748 = order number

E63 = 383 4 bbl engine H.P.
D21 = A833 4 speed manual trans

I hope this helps, I got the info from an old mopar pocket decoder and the "dodge & plymouth muscle car red book", also the "charger, RR, and super bee restoration guide"

If anybody notices anything wrong, please let me know.

I don't have a clue about the A40 code but everything else bsakal decoded including J45 is correct. Good luck on the sale!

hemigeno

A40 = Dodge Spring Special "B"    Same as A39, except Vinyl Roof (V1-) not included in package.

Since A40 refers to A39, here's the low-down on A39...

A39 = Dodge Spring Special "A"   Light Package, LH Outside Reomote Chrome Mirror, 3-speed Windshield Wipers, Pedal Dress Up, Hood Tie Down Pins, Upper Door Frame Moulding, Belt Moulding, Bumper Guards Ft/Rr, Carb Fresh Air Package, White or Red Sidewall Tires, Vinyl Roof (V1-), Performance Hood Treatment, Wheel Covers (Class III).  Some Restrictions Apply.

:cheers:

Thanks for the compliments guys. My dad and I have been into chargers since i was 8 years old, always thought they were the best looking cars i had ever seen. We saw the Super Bee for sale in Missouri and bought it off of ebay in February. I would love to keep the car but we are trying to make some garage room for the 69 R/T as soon as it gets back from paint. The superbee is for sale here:

Thanks again for all the help guys!
