I saw this laying amongst the B-Bodies at a salvage yard.

I had found a starter splash shield (that I didn't even know I needed or that it even existed until about a month ago) for my Charger so I thought I'd better grab this also, in case I needed it.

Anyone know what it is?

Shakey, I was in the same boat as you with the starter motor splash shield.  I had the holes in my frame rail but they never had any threads cut into them.  I guess it was one of those mistakes that never made it onto my car.  Now at least I have one.

As for the other splash shield.....maybe that is one that is supposed to go on the pass. side frame rail?

Whew.  Thank god.  I was worried I might have to get something else for the charger.   lol.

There are two other shields that I know of and you probably do as well, those shields at bottom front of the front
fenders that you can't see withought taking off the fender practically. But that is not a picture of one of those,
even if it is bent up bad, nope never seen one of those.

Shakey

I was pretty sure that mystery shield was not for a Charger but it was amongst the other stuff I carried back to the office.  If he had said he wanted $40.00 USD for it, I would have walked it all the way back to the B-Body rows.  I'll keep it and maybe one day, when I find out what kind of car it goes on, I'll buy one.

Here a pics of the other two shields under the fender.  One behind the headlight (from a yard in New Mexico) and the other in front of the tire (from a member of this site from Kansas).
