is this hacked suregrip still good?...pics

i pulled this out of a 9-1/4 diff and it looks like someone had trouble gettin the pin out?
it is missing metal on both sides, one worse than the other
is it still ok to use or should i chuck it?

I know NOTHING about rearends, but considering how much it would cost to replace that versus the damage of it letting go at speed?   Dump it.
