I'm not crazy about them myself, I like the wheels on your car MUCH better.  In fact I wouldn't deviate from your plans with your car at all.  It looks great and the whole project has been an inspiration.  Here's a birthday Charger in color.

ChgrSteve67

The media blaster finished my Charger today.

Tomorrow I get to go pick her up and take her back to the mad scientist laboratory.

ChgrSteve67

Got the Charger back today.
Looks good.
Passenger door will need more work than I first thought.

Been a few months so here is an update.

Got the major body work done, down to minor dents and marks.
Dash is painted and I have the computers reinstalled along with the switches.
Replaced the bearings in the steering column and painted, I still need to install.

Well she has finally been painted.

Now the fun begins.

Uhaul would not rent me a trailer. They said my Uncles 1967 C10 4wd did not weight enough so I put on my sun glasses and drove her back to the garage.

Glad no cops were around.

ChgrSteve67

Time to order the weatherstripping I guess.

Actually I sat on the floor with a boat seat behind my butt so I could push the pedals.

Its a good thing I'm 6'3" with long legs.

It would have been hysterical if someone would have taken some pictures of me going down the road.

Headlights are back in. (and work)
Hood scoop and hood are mounted. (Still needs alignment)
Minor electrical modifications made. (Electric fans, air horn and sequential sequencers removed)
Weather stripping ordered and arriving this week.
Going through the chrome to figure out what needs to go to the Chromer.

I would love to take 3 or 4 weeks off work to work on the Charger.

That thing is gonna look badass Steve. I can't believe Uhaul wouldn't let you rent a trailer. I went on their site and did an estimate and they said my dad's '91 Bronco was fine pulling a Uhaul trailer with my Duster on it....
